In this joint meeting with CAP’s Clean Air Council members and QUEST’s Ontario Community Energy and Climate (ON-CEC) Working Group, the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) will discuss access to electricity consumption data by interested municipalities.
After a decision by the Ontario Energy Board last year, the IESO collected consumption data from more than five million residential and small general service (<50kW) smart meters installed across the province available to Canadian Governmental Entities, including local municipalities. During this webinar, the IESO’s Smart Metering Entity will discuss this opportunity further, given its value and potential to inform the development of local and regional community energy/climate change action plans and programs.
