Join this interactive workshop focused on improving how we use climate and flood data to support local planning and decision-making. Designed for municipal staff and practitioners, the session will explore common challenges, partnerships, and opportunities across Southern Ontario.
Through guided discussion and a hands-on, card-based activity—drawing on research, practitioner experience, and real-world case studies from Ontario, across Canada, and internationally—participants will share experiences and identify practical ways to strengthen data systems, collaboration, and community engagement, with a focus on equity and accessibility.
While centred on flood risk, the workshop is relevant to those working in climate adaptation, emergency management, and community resilience.
