Timeline: 2021 onward
| 2021 Updates: In 2021, the City of Vaughan completed the Clark Avenue Multi-Modal Transportation Corridor Retrofit Project, which updated Clark Avenue’s walking, cycling, driving and public transit infrastructure. The project included improvements in road rehabilitation, operational improvements for motorists, pedestrian and accessibility enhancements, and 4.5 kilometres of cycle tracks. 2022 Updates: In 2022, the City of Vaughan constructed the Keele Street multi-use pathway. 2023 Updates: In 2023, the City of Vaughan opened more than 11 kilometres of new cycle tracks and multi-use pathways. An additional 29 kilometres of existing multi-use pathways and trails were updated with new pavement markings and signage. Construction also began on the New Westminster cycle tracks, which will connect to Clark Ave. |
